Nick Zemura is the co-founder of Mirazvo and is currently the creative principal. He is a filmmaker who nurtured his passion for storytelling from a young age. While a student at Gumbanjera Primary School in Murehwa, he began writing and performing, continuing this throughout college and even pursuing a Master’s Degree. The film industry was his ultimate goal, and in the 1990s, he actively sought opportunities by networking with anyone involved in film, television, theater, or performance. However, he found the industry insular and difficult to break into. He later found a place with Murehwa theatre works, but his true dream remained unfulfilled until he continued his education. Though his family supported his artistic pursuits, they also encouraged a practical backup plan, making acting, writing, and filmmaking a cherished but secondary passion.
